Land Rover Diagnostics, Fault Code Reading and Programming

Got a fault with your Land Rover but cannot work out what it is? JGS4X4 offers a full diagnostics and fault code reading service with our state of the IID Pro tool specifically for modern Land Rovers’.

For less complicated faults on other makes and models, we also have a Contisys diagnostics system. Both are very powerful tools and can make diagnosing faults extremely easy or very difficult in the wrong hands as the data can be a bit daunting!

Run diagnostic and read my Land Rovers’ fault

One of our JGS4X4 technicians can read and clear faults, view live data, test switches, sensors, valves and much more. We can also carry out various programming features, such as enabling Xenon headlights, reverse follow me home lights, 3 flash indicators, key programming, gearbox adaptation resets, service indicator resets, 4×4 Info screen and much more.

JGS4X4 can re-flash ECU’s, for example, if you upgrade from the old-style Hitachi¬†compressor to the newer AMK compressor, you have to upgrade the software, this can all be done, usually whilst you wait.

So if you have a problem you need diagnosing or a feature you want to be enabled why not get in touch?

Please note:

Whilst diagnostics and fault code reading is done in good faith, we can only offer advice, you have to know that simply clearing a fault code will not necessarily fix the problem.

Whatever caused the problem still needs to be fixed. There are some exceptions to this, some electrical faults can be caused by something as simple as a low voltage from a tired battery, so charging the battery and clearing the faults is often all that is required.

If your Land Rover is showing a fault or you would like it re-programmed then contact us to make an appointment.

Brilliant service from James at JGS4x4, read my fault codes and took the time to explain what they meant and what was the likely cause of them. All the faults pointed to a low voltage problem so I shall be ordering a new battery before the cold weather sets in in.
