Vehicle: 2005 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6
Mileage: 115,000 miles
Problem: Juddering at low speeds, clunky gear changes
Customer travelled from Birmingham to our Kettering shop so they could experience one of our famous gearbox flushes. With plenty of countryside walks and horses nearby, his wife and daughter ended up being treated to a fun day out while they waited!
This car was in desperate need of a gearbox flush – once we got started, we noticed the old fluid was blackened and burnt. We worked our magic and let the owner and his family head home on a much smoother journey.
Nice looking car, what is the visor thing on the bonnet for?
Yes, it was a very well looked after Range Rover Sport. Not sure what the visor was for, have never seen one before. I presume it is to protect the bonnet from stone chips and fly squashes? Perhaps somebody who knows could let us all know.
