When it comes to maintaining your Land Rover, you’ll need the right tools for the job. Like most vehicles there are a few specialist tools required for certain jobs and Land Rovers are no different. We’ve compiled a list of a few of the most commonly used tools that you’re able to purchase through our website.
An essential tool for any Land Rover owner. This very heavy-duty wheel nut wrench is much stronger than the original, made from 19mm thick steel and 15 inches long for greater leverage. Suitable for all Land Rover models with 27mm wheel nuts.
This tool is specifically designed for the removal of the steering drop arm from the steering box on all Land Rover Defender models from 1986 – 2016.
The Defender steering drop arm can wear because of its position low down at the front of the chassis as it’s exposed to all the road spray and water that gets thrown up at it. Water ingress can get into the joint and eventually need replacing due to the rust corroding it.
However, splitting the steering drop arm from the steering box can be difficult because the steering drop arm and the steering box splines corrode together. This tool solves that problem and comes supplied with a spare threaded bar.
This 27mm oil filter socket has been specifically designed to remove paper filters without damaging the plastic filter housing in all Land Rover Freelander 2s and Range Rover Evoque 2.2 Diesel models.
This Land Rover Defender clutch alignment tool is specifically designed to hold the clutch centre plate on to the flywheel while fitting the clutch cover plate. Its knurled design will ensure optimum grip too. Compatible with all Land rover Defender 2.4 Td4 Diesel 2007 onwards models.
This timing tool kit is specifically designed for the Range Rover Sport 4.4L Diesel engines and includes a flywheel locking plate, crankshaft timing pin, 2x camshaft alignment tools and a crankshaft pully locking tool.
This specialist propshaft socket tool has been designed for use on most Land Rovers. The socket end is a perfect hexagon with rounded tip profiles to ensure the whole turning power is transferred onto the flanks of the nuts instead of the corners.
